Jed's Bar-B-Que: Southern BBQ and Breakfast Delight in Asheboro

Fantastic food and service! We used Jed’s to cater a baby shower for 60 people and the experience was wonderful. Danny, the owner, made sure everything was ready for pick up on time and took care of all our needs. He advised me how much food to order for our crowd and was spot on! The pulled pork bbq, buns, slaws (red/white), macaroni and cheese, baked beans, hush puppies, and sauces were excellent. He kept everything warm in tins and a fancy cambro for transportation. Danny even ensured that we had crushed ice for our gallons of sweet tea. He truly went above and beyond! I highly recommend eating at Jed’s and going to them for all of your catering needs. You won’t find better than Danny!

I have been here twice now and their service is fast and very friendly. The food has been really good too. The prices are very fair especially for the amount of food you get on your order. I would definitely recommend that people give them a try for breakfast.

We love this restaurant! It is so, so good from breakfast to dinner. You can’t go wrong! The owners are also wonderful and everyone that works there. They make you feel like family.

My family and I have eaten at this restaurant for many years. Friendly people, home cooked meals and best fish in town. The owners, Danny and Sheila, are the sweetest people and make you feel so welcomed.

Love to see a place paying tribute to local servicemen. Maybe 400 pictures of community members who have served our country. 7 of us dined here after visiting the zoo. Absolutely everything we had was wonderful. Our server and her service were better than I've had in many restaurants; upscale or otherwise. We never ran out of drinks. Refills were plentiful. All our food was wonderful. This will be my go to place for when we visit the zoo. Can't say enough good things about this place. The owner cooks, brings some of the food to the table, runs the register some and more than unusual, thanked us for coming to eat there. No this wasn't some spiel from Chicfila but a local business owner that means everything he says.

Great home cooking. Good service. Country cooked vegetables. Excellent rolls. Tea is great. They are busy but service is good. Reliable stop fo a nice square meal. "Jed" is busy behind the scenes making sure everything is quality. I know from being the Pastor at Sawyersville Wesleyan, that they do a great to go, catered job too! Solid 4.0. Probably more of a 4.2 or 4.3. It is on my list of local faves, in Asheboro. Parking is a little tight. Give yourself and them a break, ... & come a little before or after major meals times, for a better experience..
